My best friend is an Aries and she has been with her boyfriend for the last 10 years and he is a Cancer BUT they do have a lot of ups and downs.
Your best bet would be Leo, Saggitarius or Aquarius. Aries are dynamic and indepent, and they need the same back they don't want anyone to lean on or be smothered by.
