PMS is Pre-Menstrual Syndrome, the couple of dys before your period starts. Some women are a tad cranky during those days, some require medication to cope, some have cravings, some have absolutely nothing happen to them at all. The condition is real, just affects women to a varying degree.

PMS is the stuff that comes before a period. Cramps, bloating, headaches and moodiness (hence why people will say you are PMSing if you are crabby).

PMS= pre-menstrual syndrome
That is the time just before and at the beginning of your period, when you can get cranky, mean, touchy, ill, crampy etc. Often you are in a bad mood and "act" your yourself. This is normal. If it is bad, your can get some over-the-counter medicine like Pamprin.
