My fiance and I have been together for 2 1/2 years. We have been engaged for over a year. We are not planning on getting married until he graduates college. He has about 2 to 3 more years until he get his BA. We have already agreed upon not getting married until he had a nice job that could support both of us and me still being in college. By that time I will only have 1 more year...hopefully :-). People are saying that 21 is too young to get married, of course I would disagree, but it's not like I'm 16 and just met the guy. What do y'all think?

You haven't really begun to experience life yet. My sister was married and pregnant before she was 22 and now at 31 years old she's admitted that wishes that she would have waited. She never lived on her own, never dated anyone but her husband, never really traveled (without me or our my family) and the list goes on and on. She loves her husband and her 3 sons, but she has regrets. I think you will too. If you both are meant to be together, it'll all come together in the end. If not then it was never meant to be. Don't get caught up in the planning aspect of getting married. It's great (have done it myself) but 6 to 8 hours after you say "I do"; you "have" and it's back to reality. You're smart for waiting until at least one of you is done with college. Goodluck!

Ja. Kind of young, if you ask me. For myself, I plan to wait for many years. At least until I am settled down and have a steady life. I also like having older parents. They are much more mature than the younger ones.

The fact that you're asking the question answers it! It's good that you are going to wait another few years until your fiance is finished with school. If the love is true, you'll still be together... Good Luck!
