I'm not sure if they get paid on survivor, but I have read on big brother that they get what is called a "stipend" for the number of weeks they are on the show but don't get t until the end. I have also wondered what women do for that time of the month. I'm guessing that they go on the pill that makes you only have 4 periods a year and plan it so it overlaps with the show.
Oh and I truly don't believe they are actors/actresses or that there are trailers for them to use when not on camera. The host and the crew get trailers but everyone else is in the wild and roughing it the whole time. Otherwise, the whole show would be a rouse and that I'm don't believe.

I assume that they get paid at the end of the show. I was always curious about the other question myself. My beau is a 'survivor freak" and I asked him that same question..he looked at me in disgust.

Don't know about the first question , but on the second .Women have reported that because food is so scarce they don't have one. Now I may have to quit eating just to avoid that time of month..LOL

of course they do...most belong to the actors guild...getting their "big break" ... the women do what they always do their time of month....there are trailers out there...etc...everything one would find on a movie set...all the amenities...its really not real....i mean its not like they memorize lines or anything...but they are told what the directors want to see, etc...it is big bucks..because everyone watches it and it sells commercial time...not all are aspiring actors...but most are...i have a girlfriend who was on it....

they get paid at the end so they keep their contract, they are given sanitary supplies like a lot of things you dont see, such as the condoms and having sex

I don't think they get paid until they win (or get to the jury). I have wondered about the other myself. No bath.....ick.

surely they give them stuff for that time of the month. that would be cruel and unusual if they didn't.
