I hope that you have a good business plan. That is very important. The Small Business Association is funded by the government and can be found in the "blue" pages of the phone book. There you will find retired enterpreneurs who can give you hard-earned advice for free.
You will need a computer cash register that can handle inventory. While expensive, it will save you time and money in the long run.

You should work in a restaurant a month, as a busser, waiter, then as a manager in order to experience or know the business activity and risks.
