You may have a busted tie rod or a bent wheel. You will need an alignment for sure.

yep
smooths out over 30 dont it, but could be a bulge on the tyre, that could be seriously bad news so check before you drive , jack it up, spin the wheel you will see if it is bent, check the inside of the rim as well as the outside, and stick the spare on and see if the problem goes away. It may start pulling one way because the spare is flat or is not the same rolling radius as the other front, but that is not alignment.
I once drove a Subaru with a failed tyre that wobbled horribly at 20 to 30 but smoothed out at 50, the owner would not drive it any further too scared so he called me out at midnight, that was a carcase failure with no obvious cause.

Sounds like a tie rod to me and why the hell would you be driving at 80 or 90 miles an hour just after this happened? Seems to me like you were taking unnecessary chances.

A bent tie rod isn't usually that noticeable when you're keeping a constant speed and driving in a straight line. But hit a bump in the road, a pot hole or drive down a rough, uneven road and you'll know right away. A badly bent rim you'll notice at any speed and right away.

Most likely bent rim. After that rim and the tyre is replaced a four wheel alignment needs to be done. A little more car control? How about High performance driving school at your local race track. Really fun to learn to keep your car off the Kerb, or Curb we call it in the USA.

Hi.
Had that myself driving from the Gower Peninsular back to London. Went all a bit wobbly with vibrations after nudging a kerb-stone.
All was well, and it proved to be a bent trackrod-arm.
Duly removed, heated up, and straightened out in a vice.
Cheap & cheerful result.
Hope your prob is similar & as easily fixed.
