Yep, believe it or not it's supposed to encourage kids to eat healthier because of the obesity epidemic. Lame I know but they think because the cookie monster eats cookies the kids will eat cookies all the time and junk. When it is the parents that are encharge of their children's health. Lord help us all.

YOU have sooo got to be kidding me???
OK I understand the whole healthy eating thing,, but come on,, he's COOKIE MONSTER??? he ate oatmeal rasin cookies,, they are healthy!!!!
It's just silly,,, I have to agree with everyone else, that it's so sad that someone really had that much time on their hands,, whats even worse is it probally wasn't even busy body mommies who did it was probally a bunch of preppy,, yuppy,, singles who of course know much better than us parents what's good for our kids.. By all means make them in to adults by pre school,, oh but why wait til pre school,, ya know they are already 4 by that time,, start them out in pre- headstart- pre school when they are 2,,
Someday we will understand KIDS need to be KIDS,, the adult world comes fast enough.

a bunch of lousy moms with too much time on there hands! Instead of spending quality time with their children they instead spend their time ruining all aspects of imaginitive play and all other remnants of a NORMAL childhood for all others. Childhood obesity is due to NEGLECTFUL , LAZY PARENTS not a cookie eating monster!!!!!

Yes, they didn't want to cause obesity in kids by them seeing him eating cookies all the time.

Well, considering when I was young all he ate was cookies, that's what kids wanted to eat. They are trying to make Americans more healthy.

good for him, i bet it is to get kids to eat fruits and veggies, there is an obesity problem in this county and it has hit the child population, they eat way to much junk food and drive thru.

sounds good to me, since most parents don't make their kids eat right, maybe someone else can.
