My sister-in-law went to school to be a massage tharapist. It was somewhat hard, because you have to learn all of the muscles and tendons, ect. It gets good work, though. But just a word of advice: open your own shop, don`t work for someone else.

You definately need to know your stuff. Like all the bones and muscles and their names. It's not just practical experience. I find it very hard on your body as the massage therapist also, most don't last more than 7 years. You can get arthritis and other problems with your wrists, arms and back. But some people love doing it so give it a shot. It's a busy business so don't worry about not making money.
