Although it's not a food.... H2O is great to keep it hydrated.
As far as foods, stick to your fruits and veggies; also soybeans have a lot of health benefits. I take the Olay vitamins and they have like 4 different types of vitamis that are supposed to be good for your skin. Maybe check that out; you'd probably be better off getting it over with in one shot than making sure you get all the necessary food to make your skin look good!

Low-Fat Dairy Products. One the most important components of skin health is vitamin A. One of the best places to get it is low-fat dairy products. In fact, experts say that the health of our skin cells is dependent on dietary vitamin A.
Blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and plums. The common link between these four foods is their high antioxidant content. Other fruits and vegetables with a "high antioxidant capacity" include artichokes, beans (the study cited black, red, and pinto), prunes, and pecans.
Salmon, Walnuts, Canola Oil, and Flax Seed. These seemingly unrelated foods all deliver essential fatty acids. EFA's are responsible for healthy cell membranes. Because it is the cell membrane that also holds water in, the stronger that barrier is the better your cells can hold moisture. And that means plumper, younger looking skin.
Whole-wheat bread, muffins, and cereals; turkey, tuna and brazil nuts. The mineral selenium connects all these foods for healthy skin. Experts say selenium plays a key role in the health of skin cells.
Green Tea. This beverage has anti-inflammatory properties, and it's protective to the cell membrane. It may even help prevent or reduce the risk of skin cancer.
Water. In addition to keeping cells hydrated, water helps cells move nutrients in and toxins out, which automatically leaves skin looking better.

Loadsa fruit and veg and avoid junk food like the plague!! The actual best foods for your skin (and hair) are milk, cheese and yoghurt (dont go overboard, just eat a yoghurt, a piece of cheese the size of a matchbox, and drink a glass of milk every day). Ooh and remember to drink plenty of water to cleanse your skin.
