can anyone please tell me how to make a chinese lantern?

not the one which you fold and cut slits and then open up and fold end to end...i searched in the internet but the only thing i can find is that...
too simple...i wish some1 cud tell me how to make one using red packets...an elaborate looking one but actualy quite simple to make....please i need your help...tell me how...any kind

well there is the version that looks like a small paper bag. but you use a wax interior to help avoid the candle wax from burning thru the paper. you can make it out of a square milk carton, Even a small size powder laundry detergent box/ cut out designs on all sides and put the wax or even colored clear celfanie on the sides to give off certain light.

the way i found theses was google image search under the words craft Chinese lantern. when you want to create something that relates to craft always add that word to what ever you want to make in the google image section. you will be amazed what i have found using images instead of web search.
