well, defintely wear something dramatic! how about some crazy eye makeup, some really flashy jewelry, and pretty funky clothes. oh yeah and pretty high heels is you can walk in them. have fun with your costume!

Lots of bling - think CZ honey!
Pick a sample, too - if you're going for the Hollywood drama queen type, look at red carpet pix; if you're thinking of somebody at your school think of that.
If it were me, I'd dress up like Paris Hilton - big white sunglasses, little purse with a tiny (fake) dog in it, and most of the costume would be acted out. I mean, drama queens can look like anybody (!) but you want people to know you're dressing up and not just being a bitc#, right?

Get some kind of scepter or wand. Make a banner for across your chest (beauty pageant style) that says "Drama Queen" on it. Of course, some kind of satin-y prom dress thing.
Lots of sparkly jewelry.
