Well out of those, The Omen. But as you now know, it wasn't a Stephen King book. So for the Stephen Kings, I'd say.... I don't really like Stephen King, but I really loved "The Shinning". Jack Nicholson did a really good job.
"It" was a really gay movie. I just couldn't get into it.

Oh, I like both Carrie and The Shining... I have seen other King-written movies, but most have not been as great. Have you seen Secret Window with Johnny Depp? That was another good one. Unexpected twist at the end which of course I won't give away... Another Stephen King-based movie was the Shawshank Redemption. It is not horror but was an excellant drama about a guy in prison.

The ultimate movie has to be "It" - for me the strength of the friendship within the group of children really holds the film together - if you read the book however its more of the fear of the unknown fear/horror that may befall you that brings every thing together. There will always be a darkened thought that enters your mind that something ~ some where ~ at some point no matter where that will get you.
