Personally, I would use my Digital Vault Software (by StompSoft) to encrypt and password protect the files in question. Then I would save them to the CD-RW. In this way the data will not be accessible to anyone who happen to get there hands on it.

put all the files into one folder.... right click and send to zipped/compressed folder... then when you open it under the file menu hit password protect... and you can add a password ;) hope this helps (oh and then burn to the cd again)
