It all depends on how a student's performance impacts others.

For example, a teacher could get a bad review from the principal if a parent and or parents complain that their child isn't being taught well. Also, a parent could feel like a failure if his or her child flunks out of school. Unfortunately this could cause some parents to become depressed and turn to drugs and alcohol.

Is this a homework question?

I suppose the parents would feel proud and satisfied, as well as happy for their child. The teachers would feel the same way--as though they are getting through to the students, which is a big boost of confidence. They would also feel proud of their teaching skills, the school that they teach in, and the student him/herself.
