A lot of people think it's very racist, but that's such a load of b.s. HELLO?? Racism is CRITICIZING someone by their culture or skin, and Survivor just SPLITS them up- that's all!! Like, who cares if they split them up???? It doesn't hurt people!!
I think it's just an everyday show on TV.

For ratings, it's an amazing idea.

For bettering the world, I guess that the show has never really helped with that before.

I think it is kind of a good idea to force racial tension issues out in to the open. Most shows try to hide that racism or discrimination even exists. This season of Survivor is going to capitalize off of it. Overall, I think it will make for good entertaiment and not much else. People will forget about it soon enough.

you've got to be the 10th person I have answered this question to. Everyone keeps asking. I think it's a good idea to see if race does play a role on how the teams get along, interact and find solutions to problems. The teams will be mixed in a few weeks or so and won't have a huge impact, i don't think

i think it's an ok idea that could have been better. im asian and the show doesn't offend me at all. but i think that the show is setup by racist people, the concept of the show is not racist, however. i just feel that if they are gonna have a team full of fit people, the every team should be full of fit people. you know...... if one team has people from age 21-30, then every team should hold the same standards. if one team has three guys and two girls, then every teams should be the same. but apparently the people who chose these contestant and the producers dont think the same way. like the african amercian team.......two guys and three girls.....all of them are unfit, and the white team three guys and two girls, and all of them are fit or atleast somewhat fit. it's like......what i know there are fit african americans out there that audtioned, but somehow these two overweight guys got chosen instead? definetly bias, objective and unfair.

Yes, it is a great idea. Everybody loves best, and is most proud of, their own race - whether they want to admit it or not. They will root for their own. AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.
