No, although most people who cheat usually continue to do so. Humans, as animal, are inclined to do things out of habit. Many times, we do things without even consciously thinking about them. As a cheater, it may be of a second nature to you, as though you're posessed to do ill deed. All in all, if you agree with this statement, then, once a killer always a killer, once a slut always a slut, once a bully always a bully, and so on. Hope I cured your curiousity.

No I don't think it's true. It depends on the circumstances under which it happened. It happened to me and I forgave him. I put him through hell on earth and nearly buried him but I forgave him. I took him back because of what he said afterwards... because he had already ended things with her before I even found out.
It really does depend on the individuals and circumstances.
It's easy to say 'once a cheater, always a cheater' until you find yourself in that situation. When/If you do, you find out it just isn't that simple.

I think the vast majority of times it is true. There are those who cheat for some deep seated psychological reasons and see the light after they get caught and never do it again. But, from what I have seen, the old adage holds true most of the time.

In lot of cases, it is true. There are many people who cheat, get caught, but then turn around and do it again. There are some, even men, that feel so guilty that they won't do it again. If you feel that you can forgive the person and give them another chance, then by all means do so. On the other hand, if you feel that they will do it again, or if they have, then my best response is to give them their walking papers.

Yes it is absolutely true that once a cheater always a cheater. A leopard doesn't change its spots and a cheater doesn't change his ways.

Yes, it is in that person's nature. They have already shown what they are capable of. However, if you are talking about a teenager, there is hope for that person. Maturity speaks volumes for a person's character. Someone who cheats when they are 18 may not necessarily cheat at 30.

Not if they truly regret it. Some people are pattern cheaters and some do it once and learn from their mistakes.

No, i dont believe that is true, i think it all depends on what type of person, or personality someone has, i think that if you are really truely in love and happy that anyone can change, it just takes wanting something different bad enough.

I don't agree with this, cause everyone can change. No matter what they have done, they can repent and change their entire life, I don't think any one of us has the right to put a permanent label on anyone.
