I'm not sure what Anencephaly is, but I'm so AGAINST abortion, in any circumstance. That is not the only answer-you so don't want to get me started.
What is Anencephaly?

Sorry to hear that, It's a hard decision but I wouldn't have it since the death rate is so high on infants with Anencephaly
The prognosis for babies born with anencephaly is extremely poor. If the infant is not stillborn, then he or she will usually die within a few hours or days after birth.

Have you read about this? from what I understand the baby will not live more then a few days after birth if it goes that far. The question is can you deal with giving birth and watching it pass after or having a still born. It seems to be a personal choice

Life is not fair and sometimes things do not go as planned. I would seek a second opinion from a neonatologist. If your child truly is anencephalic, there is no hope for a normal life. With this condition there is no brain development.
Those who say they are against abortion don't realize that sometimes it is an act of mercy. God bless.

wow this is a tough question. i definitely think you should have him/her a child is a great gift and you should love them no matter what. although kids born with anencephaly don't live longer than 10 weeks so that's gonna be hard on you after wards. real tough choice...

I am truly sorry for this news. IF the baby is truely anecephalic it will die shortly after birth. IF you carry your baby to term and deliver spontaneously, you can hold your baby and bond with him/her. The hospital staff will treat you and the baby with all the dignity human life deserves. You will also be able to have a proper burial.

Can they do inter-uteran surgery to fix it?
Can you afford ot live with a disabled child your whole life?
Encephalitis can affect the brain at varying levels.
You need to sit down with your partner and/or other loved ones (and a dr. or even a therapist) and get the information you need from the people you are closest too.
Whichever decision you make you will have to live with for the rest of your life.

I am the mother of a special needs child. I can tell you from experience it's the hardest job you will ever have. Your life will never be the same. While my child is not physically challanged, his emotional problems leave me drained. I spend hours going to therapists, doctors, etc. Am I complaining? Maybe. It's really hard. I love him more than anything in this world and would do anything for him. And it's just as hard on him. I remember when he was six months old he had feet that turned inwards and we had to put casts on both legs to the knee till his feet straighened out. Let me tell you, people stared and whispered. This will be your life and your childs.

well i would think its too late to abort since you are 15 weeks now and the baby is already forming but if you think you ll feel different or you cant raise the baby with these problems then think bout adoption and there are so many other options to consider than just thinkin whether or not u should have it.GOOD LUCK
