Does anyone have any recommendations for basement waterproofing or any waterproofing experiences they would like to share?

All the answers before mine are good. The best idea is to do a combination of drainage maintenance, and the Drylock. Drylock will 100% waterproof the walls of that basement. You can get Drylock at most home centers and most good paint stores.

Depends on what is going on with your basemen. Is it block or is it concrete walls? If it is block I would suggest buying a rubber rized product from home depot or anther store that would carry something like that. And coat everything and 1-2" inches on the floor whare the wall and the floor meet.

If you are talking about the walls, there is a product called Drylok. It looks like a really thick paint. Put two coats on the walls and it seeps in to create a waterproof barrier. We have been happy so far with ours.

The biggest reason for water in the basement is poor drainage from your roof. If your home is sitting higher than the surrounding yard, you might have a drain-spout problem. Getting that water away from the foundation can stop water in the basement completely.
