Doctors we all know about, but even a family practitioner can be sued for mal-practice. The insurance a doctor needs to pay for can take a huge bite out of his income - especially if he never needs it.
Insurance agents can make a lot of money if they really know how to get and follow up on leads.
Lawyers and even legal assistants are high paying careers.
Consultants have no limits holding them back. Find a field you are interested in, learn the business inside and out and become a consultant.
Body guards are handsomely paid, as are personal secretaries. And you could get on as a personal trainer in a myriad of areas.
Animal trainers can just about name their own wages if the animals they train appear on TV or movies.

Networking is a great way to earn money working from your own home as your own boss. Ever heard of Robert Kiyosaki Rich Dad Poor Dad? He has another book called "The Business School" and he talks a lot about network marketing strategies and getting on the right side of the cash flow quadrant. That's what I did when I started my own business at http://www.bedavis1.mywayout.net/ that is a new division of a billion-dollar international company that is listed on the New York Stock exchange. If you have a big enough dream, you can achieve anything :)

The highest paying job or career is dependent on your geographical location, your education level and your aptitudes. Sorry, the answer is not cut and dried. Find out what your interests are by taking tests avavilable at college and high school counselor offices. Take a step to make a great future for yourself.

How bout easy money, and some of it all TAX free, Become a Poker dealer. most that I know make an average of $35 to $50 an hour.
