Which type of card is considered old and what type of card are Graphics Makers gearing towards making now...AGP or PCI?

Actually, they are moving toward PCI-e. AGP would be the best bet right now.

PCI is the old bad stuff(really old)
AGP for a long time was the type of graphics card you wanted.
However there is a new type that has recently been quickly gaining popularity. Just to confuse us it's called:
"PCI-Express"
Graphics Cards that have been based on PCI-Express are faster and cheaper than their AGP counter parts.

its pci-e both pci ang agp or being fased out pci i think is all but gone.
pci-e is diffrent than pci.
