Dude, whatever your on.......

PASS IT OVER!!!

The only 'real' Star Wars are the defense satellites that protect the U.S. (maybe other countries....) from any nuclear missiles that are launched high enough. (don't know how low they can fire.... but from what seem to remember, is that several months ago when North Korea was testing a new rocket, which failed, or was it China? Anyway, the government was a bit anxious because that would have been the first chance at a live performance for that defense network.) These satellites were during the Reagan administration if memory serves me right.

Yea, like the imi says Reagon had a plan which didn't take off. Lot of countries want to keep space military free, but I don't think we're on the same page with them. I think US resisted that movement to keep space free from militarization. I'm sure there may well be some sort of secret plan at Pentagon or whatever for missile defense program out in space. May be Google can release Google Earth with Bomb a country.

You don't need to watch the TV series in order to to understand Star Wars. The TV series is just another lame attempt at milking a franchise. So yes it is a waste of time.

I can tell you that there are some religious nuts out there that think star Wars trilogy is real. Because the story is sup-post to be based on the Bible. And they found Darth Vader's helmet in the Himalayas.

The program linked above was almost real when Reagan proposed it, but as some have mentioned it wasn't completed. Today there are similar systems that are commonly refferred to as "Star Wars" though they are not part of the same initiative.

yes. the cold war had what they call "star wars" (probebly named after the movie, not vise-vera) because of the race to outerspace, then the moon ect.
