Lots of puzzles involve numbers in a grid, Sudoku and Kakuro being most recently popular. There are lots of others like 'Block Party', 'Heyawake', 'Polyominous', 'Nurikabe', 'Hitori', 'Akari', 'Number Link', 'Slither Link', 'Hashiwokakero', etc. (*These might have other names elsewhere).
