We weren't dating at the time and some of my friends said it was rape... the baby is a girl and could end up having syphillis... I'm almost 3 months pregnant... please tell me what i should do and what i should expect... and i'd like to know how soon I should start showing and how fast i will show... thank you.

Its your body so your choice on if you want to abort or not.
If you feel that you want the baby and are prepared to look after it then go ahead and have it.
If you do not feel that you can cope looking after the baby alone for the next 18 years then you have to consider abortion along with adoption as alternatives.
3 months is fairly fare along so you will have to contact your doctor ASAP if you decide to go through with the abortion.
That the father has asked you to get an abortion makes it pretty clear that he will not be around to help you out if you decide to keep the baby, he has an obligation to assist you financially, and if he refuses you can force him to assist through the courts.

I think your baby is too far along now sweetie to probably have an abortion now. I'm three months pregnant and the baby has toes, fingers, it is pretty much a little baby at this point. She is about three inches right now. I don' thtink that your ex-boyfriend has any right to tell you whether or not to get an abortion or not. How did you find out about the sex of the baby so early? Have you told your parents. I know it's hard to do, but you need to let them know so they can help you with your decision. Your doctor would know better whether the baby was going to have syphillis or not. Hope this helps. Good luck! :)

Only you can make the decision about what to do. Think of how you will support a baby, your future, your child's future. Speak to your Dr. about the baby's chances of having syphillis and what the effects of the disease will be. Will you have a positive male role-model in her life? You need to weigh all factors and make the decision that is best for you and your child.
As far as showing, you probably won't show until 20 weeks or so, being that it is your first pregnancy. But, it's really hard to say as everybody is different. Your size before pregnancy has something to do with it to. The smaller you were pre-pregnancy, the sooner you may notice the "bump".

You already know it's a girl, and you're just NOW thinking of having an abortion? How is it you just found out you're pregnant and already know it's a girl?
In my opinion, it's too late for an abortion. You should've gotten a morning-after pill. You didn't say how many months you were, but people don't usually start showing until the second trimester, so three or four months in.

It is your choice, not his. However I would urge you to have the child. Talk to your doctor about the possibility of transfering syphillis to the child and what treatment can be started. Syphillis is curable (see source).
You will start showing soon.
It is not your baby's fault to have been conceived under these circumstances. Do not condemn her lightly, she will most likely become a healthy child and her potential could be limitless. Just love her and care for her in the same way you WANTED to be when you were little.

well at 3 months ur pretty much going to keep this baby now. the syphillis how ever you need to speak to your doctor and they can treat it and try to stop it from passing on to the baby and he dont want the baby oops too late tell him its a done deal so u all better get used to each other if ur a petite person you will be showing definetly by 4 months if your larger than u may show in ur 6th month

Wow whos your doctor? If they can tell you already that your having a girl at only 10-12 weeks maybe I should go see that doctor. I am nearing 6 1/2 weeks and hopefully they could tell me too.
Seriously get real. You need to grow up. If you are lieing it is sad. You are much to young to have a child if you know nothing about being pregnant or being a mother. You would be best to allow a family member to adopt it or allow someone to adopt it so she has a fair chance at life. Abortion is murder.

That is your decision. If your ex is the father, he will be required to pay child support. That may have something to do with his decision. It is his child also, but you can make the decision. I think abortion is good in some cases, but this one you will have to decide. Let your doctor help you decide about the syphilis. It can usually be cured. You will never get over the murder of a child and may never have another chance to be a mother. You know more than anyone else if it was rape.

Oh yeah, just another teen that wants a baby because it's cute. Like Bill Cosby said;"Get a puppy"! Most syphilis babies are born with defects that including; blindness,arthritis,nervous twitches,and a large shank-er on their fore heads. Best get a rusty hanger and put it in the closet till your old enough to raise another human being,because that's what a baby is,it's not a toy,it's not a tool to get welfare and pass off to your Mama & Daddy to raise,thier a large responsibility that need everything you need but twice as much! Think about giving your baby to a nice young professional couple that will give her love and a good start on life.

do not get an abortion do you hear me with my first child i was 20 years old. i didnt really want to have a baby but it was different for me i guess because my boyfriend stayed with me it dependshow big the baby is usally people start showing about 4 or 5 months dont not get an abortion youll be wondering why you ever did it
