i think montreal will rip the aging avs on october 21st. the fans in montreal will try to get him off his game. i think when the canadiens play the hurricanes , it will be like watching the former rivalry between detroit and colorado. the canadiens will beat the canes and i expect a few good fights. i definately will tivo that game. i like when teams have players who stand up for their teammates. i remember when claude'' the turtle'' lemieux gave kris draper that dirty hit in the playoffs in 1996. i was mad. i was happy to see darren mccarty beat him up in the next season on march 26 1997. anyway, it fired up the team to win. the canadiens should use this as motivation to beat the hurricanes any chance they play them.
the matches i look forward to is detroit against the oilers, detroit at ny rangers and detroit at colorado. san jose and edmonton and colorado at dallas are also some other good games to watch. toronto at montreal is another matchup worth watching.

Huet vs. Theo October 21. Two of my favourite goalies. Can't get any better than that.
Montreal Vs. Vancouver Canucks. I want Montreal to avenge their 6-2 beating against the Canucks last season. We have a better goalie now. Luongo vs. Huet.
Bertuzzi and Florida Vs. Vancouver Canucks. January 7

Calgary v. Edmonton are always great games. Two really good Canadian teams that were 1 goal or 1 game from winning the Stanley Cup. Plus they don't much like each other!
Actually: Any games of San Jose-Anaheim-Los Angeles will be big because of the Brian Burke/Mark Crawford thing, or/and also because at least 2 or all 3 of these teams will be playoff teams or will be trying against each other to make the playoffs!
Man I wish the NHL/QMJHL/OHL/WHL started tomorrow night!

Absolutely!
In December, when Toronto and Detroit meet for the first time in nearly two years.
This is ridiculous! Leafs and Red Wings need to be in same Conference and play eight or nine games a season.

Classic rivalry and first saturday night game in Toronto. Nothing short of a packed house is expected. What more could you ask for?

Always look forward to the Boston/Pittsburgh meetings in Boston. Although it isn't quite the same without Mario Lemieux and some of the older players from both teams.

The day January 7, 2007... the Florida Panthers realize their complete stupidity in trading Roberto Luongo to the Vancouver Canucks...
Also, Ovechkin vs. Crosby/Malkin
And finally.....EVERY SINGLE NEW JERSEY DEVILS GAME!!!
GOOOOOO DEVILS!!! esp. those against the rangers and penguins.
