Is it true about Alienware?
I got this answer from one of my questions and I quote " I'd say get the Dell. The Alienware has a Pentium D which is bottom of the dual core ladder and has heat issues. The Alienware also uses integrated Intel Graphics, the worst graphics on the planet. I honestly never knew Alienware could make that crappy a machine. I guess Dell really ruined the company when they purchased it.

The Dell on the other hand has a Core 2 Duo processor which is the best dual core option out there. It also has a minimum of a DVD burner and a much larger hard drive. At its base cost it includes a solid GeForce 7300 video card. It's not the best but you can choose better if you want to.

For the price, the Dell totally blows away the Alienware computer "

Always look at specs rather than brand when comparing computers and do the research on the components.

If you are comparing a "cheap" AlienWare to a "pricey" Dell which is about the same price, the Dell may be better because you don't get the name and cool case that comes with the AW.......

And always do some research yourself rather than relying too much on people's opinions here:-)
