Meryl Streep in Bridges of Madison County as a weak character and The Devil Wears Prada or Manchurian Candidate as a strong character, can you tell I'm a fan?

Diane Keaton and Shirley MacLaine have the ability to act (Anne Bancroft had it too). Meryl Streep, Sally Field and Susan Sarandon have the talent.
I love Sally's tantrums, she changes faces in milliseconds, she's awesome.

I would say either Meryl Streep. Sally Field is a close second.

If by talent, you mean the most capable of playing different kinds of roles, then Meryl Streep, hands down.

She does contemporary, historical, accents and even comedy.

She is as good as any actress ever has been.

Although I am more of a Vin Diesel/ Arnold kind of fan...

;)
