How to clean hardened oil (scented) from a burner?

I have a decorative porcelain burner, and after oil is burned and cooled it hardens so much. I need a way to remove this so I can burn new fragrances.

Use Easy Off. Maybe you should put the oil in a glass container and put the container on the porcelain burner (is it that kind of burner?) to avoid the problem in the future.

feels like the appropriate way is to apply sand paper or attempt to scrape it utilising a blade utilized in paper cutters. If this is relatively thick, you may start up with the blade then use sand paper.
