I'm just going to experament on them (believe me nothing like injecting them with helium or force feeding them crack or something) I just need to know how long it takes for a regular mouse to get into adult-hood.

For those of you who might freak out, seriously grow up. I'm just testing wether or not artificial growth hormones in dairy products affect us people physicaly and mentaly.

Are you breeding them? They are usually mature at 12 to 16 weeks.

White mice are usually better and live longer (about 2 to almost 3 years). Brown mice lifespan might be 1 to 2 years. Sufficient room, clean cages and proper nutrition is very important.

From what I have read, a mouse in captivity can live about a year and a half to two years. In the wild a mouse lives an average of one to two months as they are pretty much at the bottom of the food chain.

The average lifetime of a common mouse is about 2 years, if you're lucky. I believe they can breed at 3 weeks old.
