this irriates my throat and it feels like having bits of sand in my throat, I tried to explain this to my partner but he does not understand. Also I am concerned for the baby in the sense that these sprays are not good for babies to breath in.

why don't you purchase him a roll on deodorant and ask him ever so sweetly , to please use it instead of the spray.

Take your time to find him a really manly smelling one and tell him it would turn you on more than the other spray smell

If your partner won't stop using aerosols, and your throat gets irritated, ask him to spray himself in the bathroom, and stay away from it until all the particles have fallen from the air. If it's one of those highly perfumed body sprays (like ax) and you are reacting to the scent, ask him to stop using it, even if he doesn't understand why.
If he doesn't, then you have the sad understanding that he cares more about smelling good than your well-being. After all, you wouldn't be asking him to stop smelling good just to piss him off!

Lastly, don't use aerosol ANYTHING around your baby. Their little lungs just can't take the stress. Be well, and protect yourself and your baby. Be strong and don't be with anyone who doesn't have your well-being in their interest.

You are going to have to make it more clear to your partner that he could be harming your baby otherwise it might be time to get rid of your partner if he won't respect your wishes. See if your partner will pamper the baby with some baby products instead of a harsh adult spray.

If your husband really cared anything for you and your baby and the effects the spray has on your health, HE WOULD STOP AND FIND ANOTHER PRODUCT WHICH DID NOT IRRIATE YOUR HEALTH.There is plently of natural products out there to use instead.Maybe go and find them for him to make your point.

This is unacceptable. these fumes will harm the baby. underarm spray is just for that underarms. personally I would consider this as child abuse. Think about it...if it irritates your throat what's it doing to your baby. This has to stop now at any cost...even your relationship with him.

This is dangerous and can harm the baby. If the baby is harmed and needs medical assistance he could be charged with abuse. You could be charged with neglect for not stopping it and knowing it was happening.

More to consider... If he holds the can close to your childs skin, it can make a burning feeling on the skin. Try it you will see what I mean.
Directions on those products say to ONLY USE UNDER ARMS. They say this for a reason.

If your partner is the babys father I recomend you buy baby lotion for his father to use on him. If hes not I'd say hes out the door.

You may be having some sort of allergic reaction to something in the deodorant. Definitely dont let him use it around the baby! Thats very dangerous.

Your job now that you're a mother is to protect your child.

This means you need to use your instincts to make sure nobody....not the father...not the grandparents....not even you does anything to hurt your child.

If your partner does not understand this you may need to get a new partner.

THROW HIS SPRAY IN THE FRICKEN TRASH and go buy him some roll on. PLAIN AND SIMPLE! That sounds pretty bad. I've had my share of weird smells giving me an allergic reaction and they are no fun! I would be damned if my man just kept doing what it was to bring on the reaction over and over again without caring. Seriously, take care of the problem yourself. throw it away and buy him some speedstick!
