My friend was wearing some cool jeans; I told her they would look really great with a sleeveless top and she could borrow one of mine, but she became a bit shy and told me she was really self conscious about the moles on her arms and that's why she didn't wear short sleeves or sleeveless. It's a pitty because she is very attractive and I think she is missing out on a lot in the clothing line.

To be honest I have seen her moles and they really are quite large like as big as your fingernail. A couple of them have got big hairs growing out of them. They are a bit icky and I wouldn't want anything like that on my arms. I tried to console her and said that people wouldn't notice and she has nice arms (which she does, apart from the moles). But I felt a bit useless. I could see she was upset about it.

Anway, would anyone worry about large moles if they wanted to wear short sleeves. What I can say to help her out because I feel bad about mentioning the sleeveless top in the first place.

If she is concerned she can have them removed...wearing nice clothes and feeling attractive is important and not to be trivialised...you can't lie and say they are unnoticeable but you can be constructive....she has options.

Yikes!

Well if I had large moles (and judgeing by what you wrote, she has more than 2) on my arms, I would be worried about showing them off too. And it would influence my decision on what I wear. But here's the thing, a friend of mine had a similar problem. Except that the moles weren't as big and they were on the left side of her face + forhead. What was amazing was that one day I noticed that they had disapeared. Surprised and dumbfounded I asked her what the heck happend, and she told me that she got them removed. But not through laser removal or surgery, she got this natural mole removal stuff online. Well, it worked pretty good, it left a bit of redness where the moles used to be, but you can hardly tell she had moles and it just looks like a bit of normal blemish on the face. I don't remember what website she got the stuff from, but I can ask ya if you want. A "mole removal" search on yahoo or google should get ya more info too. Anyways, hope I helped! Cheers!

I have a large mole, one of those big lumpy brown types (ew) on my arm were my elbow joins the top of my arm. It has never concerned me and i have never felt self concious about it and i always were short/sleeveless tops. People however do mention it alot, but i just shrug there comments off.
I suppose there is always the option of having them removed??

When i was younger i used to self harm which i reget doing but my arms are covered in scars, i used to wear long sleeve tops all the time to hid them because i felt embarrassed but one day my friend said to me if people dont like it or stare at you they are not worth knowing or having as a friend so i stopped worring and started living life, but if they are really bad and making her feel upset maybe she could go to doctors and see if there is anyway she could get them removed, my auntie had one on her face and she recently had it removed so this should be possible

Just tell her to wear an arm band or something to cover the moles up. Until she gets enough self-confidence that is.

It shouldn't matter whether or not she has moles, I don't think they're icky at all. She could try surgically freezing them off as an option but I heard that some grow back.

no, it wouldn't influence me, because I'm comfortable with my body, I know that most people have atleast one thing they hate about thier body, so I would just tell her that theres nothing she can do about it so she might as well wear her moles proudly, it could be worse. Plus most people won't be thinking about the moles on her arms, but how great her outfit looks!

A mole on the arm is better than a ferret down the trousers.

if she doesn't like the moles there then get them removed its the only way she'll feel confident!
and to your question YES i would feel a bit nervous about wearing short selves tops around other people and in public.

if she has them on show and somebody likes her for other reasons they will not be bothered by the moles, which might be a problem if they see them after a relationship has formed any way beauty is in the eye of the beholder
