I have seen people on Craigslist.com selling used mattresses (obviously worn and used). Isn't this illegal in CA? I know there are regulations for retail mattress resellers, but what about private sales?

Everything is illegal in CA. Check the regulations at the local health department.

I've heard that, but I really don't know if it's true. Factoid: Did you know that California has more laws than any country in the world? So when it feels like California has a law for everything, remember, it's a fact!

no its not illegal. it probably should be depending on what's been done on/to it.
