I won a linsey lohan barbie doll signed by lindsey lohan from a radio show a while back. How much do you think I should set the start price of the barbie doll. How much would you pay if you were a lindsey lohan fan?

If you are talking about selling it on Ebay...just hear me out...start it really low, like 1 cent...everytime I've sold stuff like this there, people go mad for it and it turns into a heated feeding frenzy because you attract them all in the beginning with the astronomically low price. I'm telling you, this is the best way to get that value up there in the maybe 100.-200. range. I've sold items of questionable REAL value, but sufficient BIDDER personal value for hundreds this way. I don't really understand the phenomenon, but it's got to be something like the gambling in Vegas...people get started at a low price & get thier heart set on the item and then just seem to get really caught up in a pissing match to be THE ONE victorius winner of the item. Try it, #1 the listing fees are MUCH lower for you this way, and #2 you can ALWAYS cancel the auction if it is not going how you'd hoped. Make sure you count the days carefully so that the item ends on a SUNDAY evening (reasonable time for people in ALL U.S. time zones to be able to have access to the final bidding frenzy). Saturdays, typically see less revenue outcomes for some reason. I have made tons of money on Ebay this way, I speak from experience. Lastly, two things, go to your library & get a little book called "Sell It On Ebay" or another like that (there are many of them at the public libraries) and read it to be sure you have tips on how to write a great listing, and what exactly be sure you show in your pictures to ensure the most viewers, and bidders! What your listing looks like REALLY matters! and...since there can be no REAL established value on a signed Lindsey Lohan doll, you have to just trust that you are doing the right thing by selling it now, while she is still considered an A list celebrity. She has TONS of fans now, so I believe that you are right to strike while the iron is hot, NOW! I hope you make LOTS of money, and that these tips helped you, I know they always work for me!

Right now, it's more like how much would you pay ME to take that doll? But... since you said if we were Lindsay Lohan fans... I'd probably start with $50. *shrugs* It's a BARBIE DOLL! COME ON!

I really don't have a clue how much something like that would go for. If you are thinking about selling it on Ebay, then specify a reserve price. Then you don't have to sell it below that amount. Set the reserve amount for the price that you think you should get for the doll. If you think it's worth let say $125, then you don't have to sell it unless someone bids $125 or better. Or set the price higher to see if you can get that amount for it. If not, then list it again at another time.

I wouldn't pay anything because I'm not a fan of hers, but on Ebay, you should start it out at a the lowest price you'd be willing to accept for it. And let the bidding go from there. Remember on Ebay, once you sell an item, you can't not sell it because you don't get what you were hoping for. Someone above me suggested starting it out a 1 cent. That might be good, but don't count on a "feeding frenzy." If someone bids and wins it at 1 cent, you HAVE to sell it to them at that price. You can't change your mind. That's why it's best to start it out at the lowest price you'd be willing to accept.

I wouldn't pay a dime for one. What am I going to do with a Barbie Doll? Someone else might pay decent money for it, especially if it comes with its own mirror and razor blade.

I wouldn't pay anything for it. Look on eBay & see what Barbies are going for, and what Lohan's stuff is going for & figure it out from that.

if you are selling on ebay you can set a reserve price if you want to aim high. this means if you want to start the bidding at $50 and no one goes that high, that you don't have to sell it. this might give you a gage of how much it is worth. then you can re-list it.
