You are still young and not to old to learn how to drive. I know a woman at 65 went to driving school and got her drivers license. Just believe in yourself and you can do it. Your never to old to learn anything each day is a learning experience.

The city I live in has 10 different driving schools and they keep popping up. I don't know about Texas.
You're never to old to get a drivers license. I would look in your yellow pages for driving schools, or driving instruction. Make a few calls, explain that you don't have a license but would like to get one and what steps you need to take to get one.
Good luck!

You are not too old to get your license. What you need to do is look in the phone book and find an accredited driving school. You will have to pay for their services and will be able to get your license upon completion. OR you can simply have someone teach you to drive and go to the DMV and take the driving lesson. I highly suggest the school however because you will have to take a multiple choice question on signs, road conditions, and proper vehicle operations.
Good Luck...remember it's NEVER too late to learn!

Well shucks fellow Texican? Take a sears drivers ed course with pimply young 15 year old high schoolers. You will learn what GOTH kids are pearcing these days don't let that scare you. And for more advanced driving skills go on line with "the drivers edge dot com." For a little fun and car control.

I don't know about Texas specifically but I think just about every state you can take driver's ed classes as long as you are over a certain age.

I live in Illinois, but as far as I know there is no upper age limit for a learner's permit.
My Mother took driving lessons and got her first Driver's License at the age of 72. My Dad had just passed away and she decided she was not going to sit at home.

Check in the local phone book, there are driving schools in the yellow pages for adults. Shouldn't be any age limit. Good luck.
