I guess you're not totally selfish or you wouldn't be asking this question. However, you do seem like a rich snob to some extent. You may even have gotten in due to alumi relations. Anyways, you could be less selfish.

You may well be a nice person but you need to stop thinking that people want to hear you brag about your "stuff". Leave that out of the conversation and show others that nice person. If someone is only interested in your material possessions they won't care if you are nice or not, just when are you going to spend some $ on them. Congratulations on the grades!
