I hear a lot of talk about how terrible it is to kill "innocent babies" but a lot of the people telling me this apparantly want to blow up entire countries with nukes. What's up with that?

So Zak -- Let's see if I understand you, we are in Iraq to bring them democracy and you want to kill every single person there, every single one of them is a terrorist? What about the army we a training all the people that voted etc. you have no problem killing them all? And every single person in Iran is a terrorist? -- what about the pregnant women in those places are all those little fetuses terrorists? Wouldn't that be abortion if you killed a million or so of those fetuses. I am not sure. Can you explain that a little better -- I am not sure how a fetus could be a terrorist?

Local two --Plenty of people want to drop nukes-- we have two so far and it could go up as high as twenty.

Obviuosly every person in any of the countries is not a terrorist or ever did anything to anyone in the US. Therefore, many of you have no problem killing innocents to "protect americans" or as long as we get a few terrorists among the women, babies, old men, little children that we kill. So l can we all agree then that every life is NOT sacred. Only your life and the lives of fetuses in nonmuslim countries, (um. stratch that some of may want to kill some would like to kill illiegal pregnant mexicans also) -- only cetain fetuses lives are sacred.
So next time spare me the "every human life is sacred" arguement against abortion or even that the life of an innocent fetus is sacred and change it to every white christian american fetuses life is sacred, but there are a lot of other lives I don't mind taking as long as we get a few terrorists along with them.

I agree that this is a hypocrisy. The guy with the terrorist comment apparently would blow up the United States if there were terrorists in it. So then I guess that makes him a terrorist. (I'm actually just pointing out that not all middle eastern people are terrorists)
Now I'll dig a little deeper just for fun. One could say that middle eastern people are more likely to be terrorists so blowing them up would reduce the amount of terrorists per person on the planet. But as it turns out, aborted babies are people who were likely to be born into a bad situation. Which means that the aborted baby population is more likely to have become criminals* than the non-aborted baby population. So we could make the country have less criminals by simply allowing abortion! So if you're pro-choice and anti blow up the middle east, you also could be painted as a hypocrite! I don't know how to feel about this idea, I've just come up with a lot of it right now...
*(this assertion is strongly statistically supported)
I should have just said yes and moved on.

The difference is killing babies doesnt save american lives. The argument is that using nukes would save American lives...
Jane not sure what country you live in, but in the US noone is turned away from the ER, and there are hundreds of free clinics for anyone that needs it.
Kristin - when was the last time a prolifer killed anyone at an abortion clinic?

Its not our fault if terrorists use human shields. Its sad, and we should try to minimize casualties, but we cant let that stop us.
To compare abortion with accidental civialian casualites just shows a diconnection from reality. War is a nessesary evil. the Allies had to kill thousands of civialians to stop Hitler, to stop imperial Japan.
How are you suppost to deal with someone who hides behind womena nd children as they target other women and children.
If a gunman came into your house holding his own child infront of him as a shield, and the only way to save your family was to kill them both what would you do?

Im pro choice... what we are doing in the war right not, I just recently started to think is right. As long as we are not dropping Nukes. lol That would not be good, that would be innocent people being killed, people we are trying to fight for.

A better way to phrase this question would be: Is it it hypocritical to be prolife and then kill the doctors and patients at abortion clinics??
The answer is YES. But the die hard pro-lifers wont see it that way.
