If you knew him, fair enough.

If you only saw him on tv, there are one of two things going on. Either you are actually grieving about something else and just projecting it on to this poor man's death, or you are indulging in sentimental "celebrity grief".

If it is the first, seek help in dealing with your real problem.

If the second, try focussing your grief on something positive - if you want to honour Irwin's memory, volunteer to help an animal aid or conservation charity. There's nothing like helping someone else to take your mind off your own problems.

Good luck.

this is totally unhappy. A loss. in spite of the actual undeniable reality that there is not the importance of a few our maximum modern, large scale tragedies. He develop right into a personality, energetic and excited to percentage the outstanding thing about nature and animals with the international. it really is a sad day. i do not recognize why you persons are being so impolite and offended about someone being unhappy. Are you exhibiting the style of worrying that you're so bent out of form about? in case you at the on the spot are not interested in someones actual grief then, bypass to a unique question and vent your frustrations there.

That's really good to appreciate someone so much that you cry when they die. Just know in your heart he was a good man and did good things.but my suggestion is : try and not let it bother you to much even though it's hard to do. I promise you that if you lower your crying rate down than the worry of laughter will disappear. To respect Steve Irwin's honor why not write someting about him and submit it to the newspaper.

Did you meet him personally, were you a close friend of his??? If not, save those tears for more important time (or person) than a guy across the world. (don't get me wrong, I was really shocked and sad that he died). It's just a matter of common sense: you simply can't go around crying and suffering for every bad thing or injustice that happens in the world. You gotta move on!

This has effected people in different ways. I personally think it is very sad and people that make jokes of it just don't know how to deal with it or feel embarrased about expressing themselves. It may help you if you go somewhere quite and say a private goodbye. Plant a small native tree somewhere for him and say a thankyou for all he has done. This will give you a chance to get all you are feeling out of your system and hopefully allow you to move on.

It really is tragic. Only jerks would laugh at you for crying over someones death. There is some irony in the title of the documentary though. I'm not glad he's gone, keep that with you, it might help to think of someone else who feels like you. I hope you feel better and that people stop making fun of you.

what you need to do is not listen to what everyone else thinks and says about him. what you think is all that should matter to you. his death has effected alot of people around the world and he will be greatly missed by all. the best thing that you could do is keep up with the story and try to follow in his footsteps with helping wildlife foundations in your area.

I know Steve Irwin's death might be sad but if you didn't know him personally why is it effecting you so much? You might want to talk to a school counsler or your parents about this issue.

I think it is so sad what happened to him, especially with a little baby, his poor wife and family, it must be devastating, It is not nice when anyone leaves this world.
You need to talk to your doctor about this, it is not healthy for you and or a school counsellor, You truly have a beautiful heart to feel so much grief for this man..
