i have installed the sims 2 and a thing came up that said i need to install the directx 9.0c so i went online and i did download it. then i went to try and play it again and it said the same thing...it also said to download the directx 9.0c adapter...now i dont know what that is? and where can i get it?

Head over to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.mspx and click on download DirectX now. When the dialog screen comes up, select RUN.
After the install is complete, restart your computer, and you're good to go.

Just look on the SIMS package and call the CUSTOMER SERVICE or HELP option.......
