This is from an idea by someone who answered an earlier question of mine. What it means is: can you think of a question to ask on here which is nearly guaranteed to get no answers?
So, your answer should be a question, I suppose. I will ask the best answer, I promise.

The musical Cherry is right, tautologically, but I'm asking what the question IS? Not how it can be descibed.

helen's answer is great but I have a feeling that some people will 'answer' it by saying 'No.', or something like that.

A rose by any other name. That is a good question, if you ask it, I will answer.

Man, you will get a million people telling that nothing rhymes with orange. And maybe three people who come up with a word that does. This is not about asking a question that doesn't have an answer, it's about asking a question that no-one WILL answer.

Every question ever asked... or ever to be asked... has an answer... the question is... when are we as individuals, ready to understand the question completely?
Only then, can we come close to the answers that we seek.
It's easy to ask questions about our universe, from an earthly point of view... it's also easy, to ask questions about things we all experience... and things the human needs... since, we all have the same basic needs, and intellectual capacity, for growth.
We all imagine many things the same... and somewhere somehow, someone out there, is on our wavelength, and will understand our question... only the child, confounds us, through their simplicity, and honesty, of theirs.
But as life overtakes them, and engulfs them with matialistc values, as society enforces standards and behaviours, that change every individual... our questions become harsher, even loaded and judgemental, and much worse, competitive in nature.
The adult needs to win, to put the other person down... to be the best at any cost... while the child is innocent of this... so, for a question without answer, I would look toward the child... since we as adults, merely answer honesty with lies and games and pretentiousness... and most of all conceit!
You wont like this answer, because, as an unwilling psychic medium all my life, I have seen and heard many things that cannot be explained... yet have been afforded understanding of them... and as a Christian (non-denom') I fully understand the words of Christ... "Suffer little children to come unto me..." and "Be like the child".
He was telling us that we all need to return to 'innocence of mind and soul'... to find the answers to the questions... that only they, can answer with their hearts.

I dont think there is such a question because some idiot out there somewhere will always respond with a stupid comment.
i guess the thing that would come closest to what you're talking about is asking someone if they identify with something that they wouldn't want to admit to. like: what's your favorite kind of child pornography?
haha i like your question, very thought provoking. wish i could come up with a better answer.

Are you my dad .
for this question i received no response .
It was posed as a message to all those parents out there who live a life of self indulgence , and are oblivious to their children's needs .
I also posted are you my mum at exactly the same time , and received about 10 answers .

With a little poetic license:
'When on patrol with the phalange,
Franco liked to suck an orange'
But back to the original question:
"In order that we may update the Sexual Offenders Register, please enter your name below"

"Is silence the best answer to the stupid ?"
The only problem is that if foes and humorous friends will remain silent, the kindest of them will probably answer the question =:/
