I'm talking about hate mail sent to me from this site and nasty comments left in my questions everytime I put my flag up as an avatar. Unprovoked attacks from Americans saying things like "lose the flag" " flush that Canadian flag down the toilet" etc Other Canadians have experienced the same hatred.

I sure hope you will forgive our under-educated hysteria driven citizens. Most of us Americans run in circles, pointing fingers at anyone our nitwit president tells us to.
We are no longer, the brightest bulb in the hall.
I do want to personally thank your country for all of the lives it saved during the Viet Nam conflict by allowing our citizens to take safe haven there, when they could not agree with killing farmers in Southeast Asia.
I would also like to thank you guys for showing America that hating gays isn't a requirement to a happier life.
I would hope you would send some delegates to the U.S. to explain to our president that government run healthcare plans can work.
I have family up there and I've heard your healthcare system is far advanced in comparison to our coin operated health care system.

I thought that was a TV show gag; South Park. Americans don't hate Canadians! We have more in common with Canadians than any other country!
There may be a few crazies out there, but most Americans like Cananda.

I'm Canadian and I haven't really heard any comments along the lines of what your speaking about. I have heard a few though. If that's what some individuals wish to think of Canadians then I guess that's their own personal opinion. ;)

Being hateful in return is the only action that will perpetuate this behaviour. Turn the other cheek/ignore the emails. Canadian or American, it makes no difference... If someone is ignorant it will transcend nationality.

I don't hate Canadians, But I know people who hunt make fun of them because they got rid of guns.

Americans are just hateful by nature. I bet they're jealous, since Canada has socialized medicine and is quite peaceful. I never see any media in Canada feeding it's viewers fear like they do in the States.
