I was wondering what makes Ruth Kelly so suitable for the position of Minister for Equality? The position includes dominance over gay rights. She's a hardcare Catholic (possibly a member of Opus Dei - her brother definitely is) and she has abstained from voting on gay rights issues during her career. She once voted against a bill to allow gay couples to adopt too.
OBVISOULY SHE'S IN THE WRONG POSITION! Would you agree that she only has this position because Blair had to move her because everybody hated her education policies?

It is my experience, with politics and politicians, that you seldom find the right person in the right position. People wonder why the public is so sceptical about politics these days - could it possibly be because the majority of politicians ARE as bad as we say they are.
Blair moved her because he is desperate and has run out of yes men and is worried that he may be stabbed in the back again if he chooses someone junior from the backbenches.
Undoubtedly there are some brilliant orators and some conscience politicians, but they are sadly too few and far between. Ruth Kelly is simply an employee.... and so are all politicians.
Isn't it bizarre though... they are employees of parliament and the state - yet they take there instructions according to a party whip. It would be like me being an employee of the local tax office and taking work instructions from the captain of my cricket club.

So Very True , if ever there was a member of Prime Minister Blairs Government??? which is a total "Misfit" Kelly fits the Bill . to see this one on the Television is to suffer Instant "Loathing" and to Detest her Droning , Monotonous Crap. Tony Blair sure scrapped the the barrel to find this one

Nothing makes her suitable.
I was surprised she was moved from education, because Blair is so keen on faith schools funded by taxpayers which discriminate against children of other or no faith.
