I am talking about life.. all of it, including the stars the moon, the planet, the ocean, the mountains, the animals, the people, the cultures, our very exsistence, and I mean both in a very deep way, but also like you have been slapped around the face and reminded that you are human, alive, mortal, and one day to leave this world, and whilst we are here, we do not actually know where here is, (and may never know) There are many theories, as to what why where and how, but none of them really seem to stand up , but something IS "going on" And every day we go around, behaving like everything is "normal" and we know what is happening, which is true in our everyday sense, but only because we are not thinking about what is actually happening most of the time (since we can not figure it out, and it would render us useless, and even more to the point probably dead)
So we go around believing we are in control, and that we know, or at least we are happy to accept that we do not know,

Sadly, I picked this up when I was wiped out and too tired to give it the thought that it deserves. However, I'll give a brief reply - I'm new to this.

You're talking about absolutes. 'The stars, the moon, the planet, the ocean...' etc., etc., are human constructs and as I know you know, Plato formulated the view that there are 'real' stars and 'real' oceans beyond our ken. See Carl Sagan's 'Contact' or Keats's letters. I could wax lyrical about this or that philosophy but I think it more apt to stick to your theme: Yes, I am often stopped in my tracks by colours - the colour of a simple red berry (which takes me back to a childhood lollipop, a big translucent red one which I can see as clearly as if it were in front of me now) or a sunset (my grandma's beautiful blue & turquoise necklace) and so on. Colours move my soul - I will not talk about Wordsworth and Coleridge here because that would be twee - but I hope you are with me.

Read Ruskin. Read Keats. Read Shelley. See colour. Watch people, their expressions. Stand in the midst of a crowd, and watch it move around you. Enjoy the play of light on a building.

there is no normal or true control in this world. we are all individuals and diverse so we can never know how anyone will react to anything at any given time. be careful, be aware and accept the things that happen as learning experiences to make a better future.

Yes I do. And once I realize one thing, I am hypersensitive to everything else. And for a moment, life is beautiful.
