goa is India's smallest state in terms of area and the second smallest in terms of population. Goa is internationally renowned for its fabled tropical beaches and world heritage architecture. A former colony of Portugal, parts of it were ruled by the Portuguese for about 450 years, from 1510 until December 1961.

Goas can be cream colored, or they can have kind of a craclked appearance. When they first come out in the spring, they're usually red. Black goas are considered an aphrodesiac in Poland, and a bright yellow one will bring top dollar in the US. E Bay has a very nice selection. Beware of the stinky goas, they could be going bad!

It is a nice little state, located in India,
bordering Maharashtra & Karnatak,
having Arabian Sea on its' west and
River Mandvi.

The people have a great influence of
Portugese tradition-i.e., they made
great sailors and pirates too, in the past.

Every family has at least one sailor, working
abroad, in ships.

By and large, the people of Goa are peace loving
, and merry making persons.

They eat rice and drink a locally brewed alcohol
made from Guava, Coconut, Cashew. They are
supposed to brew and keep these for the
entire years' consumption at home.

Normally, you can find road side Dhabas, selling
these drinks, known as Fenny alongwith snacks.
These are very cheap. The locals enjoy it very
much during the day. The males work in ships
and boats for fishing, whereas, the females take
care of the entire household activities.
When men return from work after weeks/ months,
they simply enjoy Fenny and food and do nothing
for the home.

Evenings are really enjoyable, when these small
villages lit up to music and dance.
