Go to a healthfood store and buy some Echinacea & Goldenseal (comes in a medicine bottle with an eyedropper) Should cost about $7.99. Every morning put 5 drops in your coffee or tea. This stuff is all natural. There are no side effects. It will loosen and eliminate you sinus congestion, it will eliminate any infection in your sinuses and bronchia and it will give your imune system a boost. I used to get 2 or 3 colds a year which lasted 3 to 6 weeks and had really bad coughs. Since I started doing this treatment 3 years ago, I have never had a fever or a cold. Sometimes I get a runny nose, but it only lasts for 1 day. Sorry you are suffering. Hope this helps.

Drink lots of fluids--no caffiene or dairy. This thins the mucus and allows it to move out of the body more easily (no matter where it is inyour body). You will notice a difference in 2-3 days. A saline rinse of the sinus cavity works too. Rest is always helpful as well.
If your congestion turns green or yellow or moves to your chest you should see a doctor.

okay, this is gross & you need to be alone ; )
go to your local drugstore and find a saline rinse kit. you will also need distelled water (i think distelled, check the label). you use waarm water and squirtit up one nostril and it flushes out the other. hey, i said it was gross but it works and best of all it's all natural!! steaming over the stove - carefully is also pretty good. eucalyptus oil helps when it's just starting too. horseradish, hot sauce and wasabi are also some tricks but - i like the "flush" when it's bad!
congestion is NOT fun -- good luck!!!

Either go to your doctor and get antibiotics or steam your head periodically with salt water. Also use Ocean or some such saline solution in your nostrils. A hot steam vaporizer also loosens the sinuses.
