I'm angry with CBS and Survivor for this crap with the separation of not only genders on it's new season but also separation by race. I for one refuse to even view any of the shows this season. Foul on them. I'm calling my local CBS station here requesting they do not show the season here. It's racially explicit and we the people should make the ratings so low they have no choice but to pull it off the air. I'm also complaining to the FCC on this. What an outrage. FOUL CBS major FOUL.

Thanks for the answers so far. Some of you missed the point entirely. CBS is promoting racism by separating the whites from the blacks, asians etc. I hate racism and the promotion of it. We're the human race here so let's get along allready. CBS and Survivor in my oppinion have gone too far on this one and they're driving this Survivor thing into the ground. Lie, cheat and steal your way to the million bucks HA what a bunch of BS. So for those of you who are watching it enjoy. As for me I will not take part in a Left winged nutwacked station or media corp. that promotes racism via television and through reality tv shows.

Has anyone ever told you that are an extremely self-rightous little ****?
Racism? That's ludicrous. If they strapped chains to one of the races for all of the events, then you'd be on cue. However, this just a gimmick to get people to watch the dam show.

Watch the first episode, then make up your mind about whether you think it's exploitive, "racially explicit", or whatever you want to call it. I think it was a bad move on Survivor's part, but I'll watch the first episode (or two) to see how they handle it.
I do think that it's kind of funny that this has caused so much controversy. Where were all of the complaints when they separated the tribes by gender? age? gender and age (young men, young women, older men, older women)?
I'm guessing that everyone that's complaining about this season doesn't have any problems with segragrating people based on age and/or gender.

Yes I'm going to watch it, I have my DVR set to record so I won't miss a second. I think it sounds really interesting, I know that I am not a racist, so I am not threatened by this. You should leave the station alone about it, if you don't want to see it, turn the channel. Don't ruin for people that want to watch. Why do you want to drag the FCC into something else. They already control and regulate the hell out of television.

Oh! cool off. You'll have to watch it in order to make an educated decision on whether to boycott or not. At least that's what smart people will do.
Make your own mind after the first episode instead of following the media outrage. How will you be able to debate your point without having seen anything first hand?
Remember "innocent until proven guilty"

Give me a break! So what! Get a life! The fact that you see the distinction between the races as something that should be hidden away as some kind of dirty secret rather than celebrated means you are years from enlightenment. Is anyone being discriminated against here? No! All of the teams are on equal grounds.

It is morally wrong to display segregation/discrimination of any race or gender, BUT, do you not realize that this is exactly the issue that will draw viewers in by the millions! Every viewer will choose their candidate(s) to win and watch to the end!

I'm boycotting it because I've never watched one minute of this garbage show, and I see no reason to watch it now.
Take a chill pill, Dave. It's only a piece of garbage reality show.

I would, but it wouldn't make any difference, since I never watch the show anyway. I guess you could say I've been boycotting it for sucking all along.

No, I'm gonna watch it. I want to see how the four different group interact in an isolated situation. I'm thinking that the racial differences will not matter one bit in such a setting.

OK How do you get that's it racially explicit???? Wake up and look around you in real life there are black neighborhoods white neighborhoods and Spanish neighborhoods. It seems to me that we choose to separate ourselves in real life so whats the big deal about a reality show doing it???
