I am a senior at high school. I am filling out my application. I have done teacher's aide as a sophmore. Should i put that under Extracurricular activities, leadership position or community activity? and also do you think college would like the fact that i did student aide for one semester.

You may want to put it under volunteer positions. If you did it while you were attending school, i believe you were not paid. Therefore under volunteer work is where you should list such a position. Colleges like to see volunteer work listed. It is also good for putting on a first time resume.

List it under community activity, and describe if permitted, to the best of your abliity what responsibilities you had. It does look good on an application and can help you get a TA position in college later.
