to create a super animal , i propose to use an animal representing each phylum. since u have to choose 3, select a cephalopod [ squid} as they are the most intelligent invertebrates, an insect{ cockroach} as they are the toughest and the longest existing ones, and a primate{ chimpanzee} as obviously they are the most brainy.
u can also make a suuper animal out of the dna of the elephant, the blue whale and the giant squids , if u want in terms of size.

I would choose the best animals and useful to create a super animal. for example some dogs and monkeys are super intelligent, cheetas are intelligent to hunt and run faster, and elephant has an super memory,eagle has an wonderful sight seen, turtles could live for two centuries. now you may choose just the best for you,to decide what characteristics want in your super animal.

Look at the wide-spread terrorism ! And the tough chase for terrorists, ... does it not make them super animals ?
