I do think that the Tigers will make the playoffs. I believe that Minnesota will win the AL Central and that the Tigers will win the AL Wild Card in a tight race over the Chicago White Sox. The way that Minnesota has been hitting, plus their good young pitching combined with the arm of Johan Santana will get the Twins the AL Central Title. The Tigers bats have gone very cold in the past month or so and have shown only minimal signs of waking up. I do believe that they will manage to hold off the White Sox for the Wild Card as a result of their pitching. So yes, the Tigers will make the playoffs.

Of course they will.
They are just making it very interesting.
One thing to remember is that The Tigers have a easy schedule the rest of the season, while The Twins and whinny sux have it tough.
Tigers win the division by 1 or 2 games

Yes they will, they play 6 games against the royals and i believe they have only lost 1 or 2 games to them, im not sure but i know they have dominated them all year. If they can win the series against the White Sox they will be in good shape for the final two weeks.

Two weeks ago I say yes.
Today I say no. Minn has a really easy schedule to close out the year so I say Minn wins, Chisox wild card, Tiger sit at home.

It's looking grizzly for them, but I'm tentatively certain they will. I think they have enough of a cushion to slide in, even be it the Wildcard. The team people should be worried about are the White Sox though.
