Very common problem on a Boxster. You should go back to the person who sold it to you because they were probably having problems with it.

Did the back window break yet? Another variation of this issue.

Fact is the top design on these cars is not very good. Best thing is have the dealer repair it if the previous owner won't make good on it. But it will happen again eventually--hopefully not for a while. I won't even lower the top on a friends Boxster, I don't want the responsibility.

most likely the car has been sitting for over 2 weeks with out being started, so afdter 2 weeks all power is shut off to the car, just start up the car and let it run for like 30-60min the power should come back and then the roof will come back up, it happened on my turbo S

Take it back to the dealership or to somebody else sho knows what they are doing.

Well, certainy I would ask all the idiots on Yahoo Answers what I should do since I'm too friggin' stupid to call the dealer where I bought it from.

Read the owner's manual first. If it still doesn't work and you've done everything according to the book...call your dealer! They should help you with anything you need. Good luck!

take it to the porsche dealer... or maybe drive it off a cliff.... the new porsches are ugly as sin
