Reiki, has anyone received it? or anyone a practitioner? For people who dont know what Reiki is, its a universal form of healing, that comes through your hands. Love to hear your stories.

Yes, I received Reiki for a back condition and it worked.
I was training in Karate and a fighting form of Tai Chi, our master was also a Reiki practitioner.
Before a training session, I was experiencing some back pain from a vigorous days work, and didn't feel up to training.
He performed Reiki for about 5-10 minutes, wow, it certainly did the trick!
(I am not a gullible person, and have a high pain threshold)

Hi, I've received several attunements to different forms of Reiki. I'm currently practicing Oshune, Usui and Celtic Reiki. I have a small reiki business and a web page.
I use reiki not just in healing clients but in everyday life. I have had many wonderful experiences with reiki and I've met many incredible people.
I know I'm being pretty general here.

Yep I do Reiki, second level at the moment. Get some great effects, but mainly giggling and sleeping occurs in my experience.
I once worked on someone's belly and made them throw up, which was not exactly what was intended!

Hey my mum does Reiki! Shes done it on me a few times and its really strange! I could tell where her hands were on me even though she was'nt touching me and I could'nt see where they were. I don't really know what I think of it though because I don't think it really does that much but I'm not sure because I think there are different levels and my mum has'nt done all of them. Shes said shes sent me Reiki but I've never felt anything from when she sent it from a distance......Its a bit of a mystery Reiki is!

Yes. A while back me and boyfriend split up for a while and a guy at work pretty much saw that i was stressed out and offered this to me. it involved lying on the floor and just letting him do what he had to do.... i had my eyes closed and no idea what he did. the result was great, i was away with the fairies, sooo relaxed!!!! nothing mattered at all. in fact i was soo out of it, i think he had to ground me again before i went to work!! as for the longevity of it? i felt relaxed for about a week or so i think. it would be great to have it done more regularly. I'm not sure if i was supposed to get more out of it or not but i guess if i had it done again then i would know what to expect and be able to relax so much more to get more out of it. i was amazed afterwards he knew what i was thinking (i needed the loo!!!!) very interesting and would deffo do again and would like to know more about it too!

I have had reiki treatment, it is lovely and relaxing, so relaxing that I actually stopped breathing during one session.

I have recieved it.
The woman i used to work for practisedit on me and our horses.
i had it done for a bad shoulder, i was in a motorbike accident and had severly damaged my shoulder so she was treating me with reiki.
it feels weird, very warm and tingly, almost pins and needles like.
Now some people may say its a load of tosh but i do think that people have this ability, and she certainly did. Horses cant lie, or say they are feeling better when they are not and vice versa. it worked on them for some things really well (muscle pain and sprains)
Give it a go, it cant hurt.. i really enjoyed it, its like a sence of calmness over you when they have finished.

My landlady does that stuff...she's like a third degree kung fu massage therapist or something. She's worked on me before, and felt like she was whipping my ***. She's into that stuff pretty hard, with the chi machine, acupuncture charts, Chinese pictures and stuff on the walls, the whole bit. Does the organic medicines and stuff, too.
