I am starting up an internet business from my home, I need a mailing address to get it started. I heard at this home business seminar that you can put your home address as the business address and just add "suite" to it and it will work. Is this true and how should it look like?

The best address for a business is to use a P.O. Box. Check your local post office for price. You typically don't want to use your home address, just personal preference. But to answer your question, use the second one.
